Le uve per il nostro Barolo provengono da alcuni vigneti di La Morra situati nelle seguenti Menzioni geografiche: Rive (250 m slm), Roncaglie (300m slm) e Rocchettevino (400-450m slm). L’età di questi vigneti varia da 30 a 70 anni e l’esposizione va da Est a Sud-Est.
The age of these vineyards varies between 30 and 70 years old and the exposure goes between East and South-East.
winemaking
After destemming and crushing, the fermentation starts spontaneously inside the steel tanks at controlled temperatures and the maceration continues for 25-30 days. Nebbiolo for Barolo is aged in big oak casks of 60 Hl from Austria. The last months before bottling are spent in concrete tanks to let the wine acquire a better balance in the taste.
